About the Book – Taking a Ride on Butterfly Wings
Taking a Ride on Butterfly Wings is a bedtime story destined to become a family favorite.
Follow Lulu and Lainy on a journey through their imaginations as they picture peaceful, calming places and activities throughout the New England seasons to help them fall asleep.
Written in rhyme, children 6 months to 7 years will enjoy visualizing themselves riding butterfly wings; playing in parks and at carnivals, eating ice cream cones and birthday cake with their friends; picking pumpkins and apples; and dancing in the snow.
Their adventure ends with them returning home, eating dinner, taking baths, reading books, and finally, falling asleep comfortably in their warm, cozy beds.
Filled with soft pastel illustrations, the book contains playful images as well as positive concepts and ideas depicting children in safe, happy places engaging with family and friends.
Helping children to relax and unwind, Taking a Ride on Butterfly Wings has become an important part of bedtime routines for children and families everywhere.
